Use Case
You want to test our on-ramp experience. You're either pre-production or have a testnet application that you'd like to integrate with our on-ramp. Or maybe you don't want to spend tokens and just want to see the "look and feel" of an on-ramp.
Solution
We have temporarily disabled testnet token transfers due to recent Acala on-chain events. When network activity is resumed and stable, we will re-enable test token transfers.
Our sandbox is a mirror of the production experience on our banking partner sandbox and uses testnet aUSD from Mandala testnet.
We maintain a sandbox instance of our banking provider. No real KYC checks will be run and no real funds will move, but sandbox accounts will be created.
For Partners
To ensure a successful integration when transitioning to prod, we recommend:
- Integrate the sandbox link into your application
- Have your testers walk through the first-time on-ramp experience, including KYC, using test data, and registering an ACH account
- At the end, users should be able to purchase testnet Acala which they can use on your testnet dapp
This simulates the full experience of our on-ramp.
Sandbox Flow
There are 6 steps in the on-ramp flow
- Set amount aUSD to purchase
- Login using email
- KYC
- Register a fund method (card or ACH)
- Confirm purchase
Success States
Upon successful KYC, you will receive an email from Prime Trust indicating your account has been opened.
Upon successful purchase, you will see a receipt page indicating the purchase was successful.

ConnectWallet
Enter your testnet wallet address using preferably the Acala addressing format.
Credit Card
Use our Mastercard test card to test credit card purchase. There is a limit of $100 for test purchases.
To complete the flow, you must first
- New Card Registration register the test credit card
- Existing Card Verification use the test credit card and enter correct test verification data

Connect ACH
For ACH registration with Plaid, choose the Chime banking provider when asked and enter:
